Our main goal and thrust is to give a second life to wood fished out from rivers. River wood has unusual and unique look. It possesses exclusive drawing and colour. It has laid in the water for a few hundred years or, like bog oak for a few thousand years without light and air.
The company T. Riverwood aims at acquiring old beams from rivers and lakes but most of all at acquiring black oak and then process them into furniture, floors, walls for all kinds of interior designs, gardens and terraces. We have at our disposal a sawmill, a carpenter's shop, a locksmith's and all kinds of machines and devices needed for processing our precious wood. We cooperate with experienced carpenters who carry out even unreal ideas.
Sourcing
At T. Riverwood, we are passionate artisans united by a deep respect for ancient wood and timeless craftsmanship. Our journey begins with sourcing rare bog oak—trees that have rested underwater for centuries, sometimes millennia, gaining their deep tones and distinctive textures.
We move forward by designing each piece with intention and sensitivity, guided by the natural story held within the grain. Every line drawn respects the raw character of the wood.
Finally, we enter the crafting stage, where skilled hands turn vision into reality. Through careful carving, joining, and finishing, we create bespoke furniture that celebrates the unique heritage of the material. Our work is where art meets function—each creation a testament to nature, patience, and human touch.
